ONE GIRL. ONE BOW.
ONE SHOT TO REWRITE A LEGEND.

The Story
Ellie, a skilled archer and protective older sister, is caught in a whirlwind of family responsibility and personal ambition in contemporary Montana. Her life changes drastically when she receives a mysterious arrowhead necklace that glows and leads her through a magical portal into the world of medieval Nottingham.
Here, she is mistaken for a boy and embroiled in the schemes of the Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John, and a fledgling band of outlaws. Initially focused on finding her way home, Ellie’s modern sensibilities clash with the stark injustices of the past. Her courage and archery prowess earn her a place among allies like Sir James and Much, a spirited boy who mirrors her younger brother.
Through daring escapes, clever subterfuge, and harrowing encounters-including a perilous trial by combat-Ellie evolves into a leader, using her skills to outwit enemies and inspire hope among the downtrodden. While searching for a way back to her own time, Ellie grapples with questions of identity and purpose. She realizes her actions in Nottingham echo themes of justice and loyalty she’s wrestled with in her own life.
Ultimately, Ellie learns that leadership and heroism aren’t defined by time or gender but by the courage to stand up for what is right, paving the way for her triumphant return home with a renewed sense of self.
Screenwriters

Dale Morrell
From an archery interest at a young age to an archery lifestyle throughout his adulthood, Dale Morrell, inventor, and CEO of Morrell Targets, has turned a target concept into an international name brand and multi-million-dollar business. Utilizing his creative entrepreneurship talents, he has now turned a new page in life through writing. Being content with the success of his target company, Dale has a passion for growing youth archery programs and developing the Archers brand and believes his screenplay, “Hooded,” will expound on it. “Hooded” will be an international film that is a fun, clever, and action-packed screenplay that gleans from his first two novels, “Archers” and “Archers 2: The Search,” and with the adaptation from the book “No Good Deed” written by Kara Connolly.
